Named after Ben Franklin, this cool website gives lots of information on the branches of our government, how laws are made, the electoral process (including the electoral college), and historical U.S. Documents like the Declaration of Independence.  It also gives quick facts about all 50 states, like a state's bird, tree, and motto!

This government website is posted by the Official Clerk of our U.S. House of Representatives.  Check it out for kid-friendly explanations on how a bill becomes a law, for interesting facts about the Capitol Building, for teacher lesson plans, and even for fun and games!
