Preferred Family Healthcare Shows their Appreciation to Representatives Mott Oxford and Wright-Jones

             April 5, 2007, Preferred Family Healthcare presented Representatives Mott Oxford and Wright Jones with prints of art created by youth participating in their A.R.T.C. program.  A.R.T.C., achieving recovery through creativity, is a creative arts program offered to youth participating in Preferred Family Healthcare’s substance abuse treatment programs across the state of Missouri .  A.R.T.C. uses visual arts, music, poetry and drama as tools to facilitate self expression, increase self efficacy and improve overall chances for ongoing recovery.&n bsp; An exhibit of the work of A.R.T.C. participants was on display on the third floor rotunda of the capital from April 2-5, 2007.
