Hibbs Homes breaks ground on Russell Avenue

May 18, 2006 - Mayor Slay, Alderman Conway, other dignitaries and Shaw residents attended a groundbreaking ceremony in the Historic Shaw Neighborhood on Thursday May 18.  Hibbs Homes, of Chesterfield, was awarded the contract to construct two new houses in the 3800 block of Russell.  The houses represent the first new construction in the Shaw Neighborhood in over 25 years.  Click here to review the CRO application and plans of the houses.
